Levels I, II, and III

S&L Training Academy

Service Description

(Coming Soon) This series of courses, led by experienced Registered Nurses, equips direct support professionals with the skills to safely administer medications via oral, eye, ear, topical, and nasal routes, as well as specialized procedures for G/J tubes and insulin injections. Medication Administration Level I: This 14-hour course covers health-related activities, medication preparation, administration, and documentation for various routes of medication delivery. Participants learn to perform these tasks competently and in compliance with standards. A 2-hour renewal course is available for Level I certification. Medication Administration Level II: This training focuses on the administration, documentation, feeding, cleaning, and medication delivery through gastrostomy/jejunostomy (G/J) tubes. The program includes a 4-hour G/J tube course and a 1-hour renewal option. Medication Administration Level III: This 4-hour course addresses diabetes management, including recognizing signs and symptoms, and the proper administration and documentation of subcutaneous insulin injections. Prerequisites for All Levels: *Must be at least 18 years old *Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID *Must be employed by a Developmental Disabilities (DODD) company or registered as an Independent Provider.

Cancellation Policy

Refund Eligibility: Students are eligible for a full refund of course tuition if they cancel their enrollment at least ten (10) business days prior to the scheduled start date of the class. Cancellations submitted fewer than ten (10) business days before the class start date will not qualify for any refund, as resources and instructor schedules are committed at that point. Refund Issuance Process: All refunds will be processed exclusively via paper check. S&L Training Academy does not offer electronic refunds, including credit card reversals, wire transfers, or digital payment platforms, to ensure secure and verifiable transactions. Refund checks will be prepared and available within 14 business days following the approval of a valid cancellation request, allowing sufficient time for administrative processing. Payment Collection Requirements: Students must arrange in advance with S&L Training Academy to collect their refund check in person at the principal office located at 1717 Section Rd, Suite 213, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237. Refund checks may be picked up during standard business hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Students are required to present a valid, government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license or passport) to claim their check. Checks not collected within 60 calendar days from the issuance date will be voided, and no further refunds or reissuances will be provided, as unclaimed funds will be forfeited. Cancellation Request Procedure: To initiate a cancellation and request a refund, students must submit a written request either via email to info@sltrainingacademy.com or in person at the S&L Training Academy office at 1717 Section Rd, Suite 213, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237. The written request must include the student’s full legal name, the specific course title, the class start date, and a brief explanation of the reason for cancellation to facilitate accurate processing. Verbal cancellations, phone messages, or requests submitted through unofficial channels (e.g., social media) will not be accepted, as written documentation ensures clarity and compliance.
